Cubs Lose But Clinch Playoff Spot

Damn. I mean… DAMN!!!

The White Sox loss on Tuesday night to the Indians felt like being kicked in the shin by a sharp pointed boot worn by a Cossack.

The Sox scored two runs in the top of the 10th inning to take a 3-1 lead. Then, with two outs in the botton part of the inning, Jose Ramirez hit a three-run walk off homer off of Jose Ruiz.

For the Indians the result was a playoff spot.

For the Sox it meant another loss, their fourth in five games.

It looked like the AL Central title was a sure thing… not so much now. The Twins are a half-game back in second, and the Indians have an outside shot, trailing by three games.

Hopefully Lucas Giolito can stop the slide as he pitches Wednesday night. The Indians throw Shane Bieber.
