Time For Trubisky

On April 27, 2017 I was hoping the Chicago Bears would select Clemson quarterback Deshaun Watson in the first round. When Ryan Pace traded up one slot to pick Mitch Trubisky I was disappointed that it wasn’t Watson, but thrilled that the Bears had identified their franchise quarterback and got him.

I was let down when Pace announced free agent signee Mike Glennon would automatically assume the No. 1 quarterback role without any competition and repeatedly asked the question, “Who is Mike Glennon?” The question has been answered and while the Bears cannot go back and correct past mistakes, they have finally inserted the best QB on the team into the starting role. I chronicle all of this in my latest movie.
